Who should I contact at Which? with a media query?

What is Which?

Which? is an independent, not-for-profit organisation. Independent of Government and industry, it is funded through the sale of its consumer magazines, online services and books. We campaign to get a fairer deal for all consumers.

What are the Which? publications and products?

Which? publishes five magazines and a series of books. We also offer a range of services on consumer, finance, property and lifestyle issues. Further information is available on the products and campaigns page

What are the Which? campaign areas?

Which? campaigns for all consumers and currently focuses on personal finance, energy, food and health and other consumer markets. Further information is available on the products and campaigns page

When can I contact the press office?

The Press Office is available to contact at any time and on any day. For queries during office hours please contact the relevant press officer. During the evening or at weekends, you can call 07970 132 811.

When can I find out about press stories?

Press releases are distributed to media under embargo. In some cases Which? will release a statement to media as and when a news story breaks. To be kept informed about the latest news from Which?, you can either sign up via the press release subscription form or contact the relevant press officer.

When are spokespeople available?

We can almost always fulfill requests for a media spokesperson, providing they are being asked to comment on something that Which? has either researched or is campaigning on. Please call the Press Office to discuss the availability of one of our spokespeople.

Which? spokespeople have all received extensive media training, and have done many television and radio interviews.

Every month, Which? conducts independent and extensive tests on hundreds of products and services, from child car seats and televisions to credit cards and energy suppliers. Each aspect of product performance and specification – price, running costs, efficiency and reliability – is compared against exacting criteria.

How can consumers get access?

Consumers can on a range of consumer issues on this website. Alternatively, people can subscribe to any of the magazines, books or services.

How is Which? funded?

Which? is a registered charity funded through the subscriptions of its magazines and services. This enables us to campaign to get a fairer deal for all consumers.
Which? is completely independent, with no owners or shareholders. No payments are taken from the manufacturers of the products Which? tests, or from the services it recommends. There is no advertising in any of the magazines or on which.co.uk, meaning Which? can remain completely impartial.
