Best Buy scheme logo

Which? Best Buy status is awarded to the very best products and services tested by Which? This well regarded accolade is only awarded to products or services which achieve the highest results after the rigorous comparative testing and analysis by Which?.

Manufacturers and retailers that have been awarded Best Buy status for one of their products or services may apply for a licence to promote this achievement in their advertising and promotional activities.

Winners in the Which? Awards can also display an icon for one year on their marketing communications.

Applying for the Best Buy licence

Companies may apply for a broadcast or non-broadcast licence which will allow them to use a Best Buy Icon which clearly details the date it was awarded Best Buy status and the category of Which? testing.

Each Best Buy licence will only be valid for a limited amount of time, ensuring that only current Best Buys are promoted in stores and in adverts.

Manufacturers and retailers wanting to apply for a Best Buy licence can download and fill in the Best Buy application form below.

Please contact the External Relations team for further information. Please note, licences will not be granted retrospectively.

Which? Recommended Provider scheme

Which? has also developed a scheme to recognise excellence within the financial services industry. The Which? Recommended Provider endorsement is given to companies that are both highly rated by our members and that have products that meet the standards of our researchers.

As with the Best Buy recipients, Which? Recommended Providers are eligible to purchase a licence to use a unique icon in their marketing and promotions.

Contact the External Relations team for further information and details of the user regulations. To download an application form, see the link below.
