Which? Awards Which? awards 'the best of the best' in products and services

About the Awards

The Which? Awards were launched in 2007 to reward the very best businesses in the UK. From cars and domestic appliances, to restaurants and high-street retailers, Which? publicly recognises those companies and individuals that consistently get it right for consumers.

The categories we select each year reflect the breadth of our research. Which? experts pore over the results of our own investigations, surveys and test results to select a shortlist and overall winner in each category. Unlike many industry awards, a company can't put itself forward for a Which? Award – a reflection of our commitment to unbiased, independent product endorsement.

Many of the shortlisted companies are selected for their performance throughout the year in our Best Buy tables, as well as the results of our customer satisfaction surveys. The Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year Award is the only award open to nominations from members of the public, while the Which? Local Business of the Year Award is voted for by Which? members to recognise great customer service and excellent work by local businesses.

Winning a Which? Award is one of the most prestigious accolades a company can receive, and former winners have been proud to display the Which? Award endorsement on packaging and in brand promotions and advertising.
