03 August 2012In its response, Which? explains why we always welcome market liberalisation in any market so long as this comes in tandem with appropriate consumer protection but is unconvinced that the Estate Agents Act 1979 alone is the main blockage to market liberalisation, though we agree that the Act should be updated to reflect changes in the way the property market now works.
