Subscribers to the Which? publications are known as Associate members. Any Associate member can apply to become what we term an Ordinary member.

Ordinary members are entitled to stand for election to the Council of Management, nominate other Ordinary members who wish to stand for Council, attend general meetings of the Consumers' Association and receive the Annual Report and Accounts.

There are currently about 10,500 Ordinary members and we welcome applications from any subscriber who would like to get more involved in the governance of Which?

How to apply

The process for becoming an Ordinary member is straightforward and free of charge. To apply, simply download, print and fill in the form below, and return it to the address on the form. Once your application has been approved you will be notified of your new Ordinary member status. All applications are approved by our Council, this process usually takes 3-4 weeks.
