It's essential that you try out a pushchair before buying. That doesn't mean you can't buy online, but it does mean you'll need to do some research first. Many stores have websites giving details of their stock, which can be handy if you're looking for a specific model. Parents' forums can be a great source of straight-talking advice - check out our lowdown on some of the best parents' forums.

Once you are satisfied that you've chosen the right pushchair, this guide aims to help you shop online confidently and pay the best price for your chosen model. We list sites that tend to offer great deals, but, as prices change frequently, it's always wise to compare prices before buying. We cover the best sites for comparing prices online in another part of this guide.
