Save money on printingExcel tips
1 Printing cells
Save ink when using Excel by only printing out relevant cells. Left-click in a cell, hold down the mouse button and drag the cursor to highlight the remaining cells. Next, click File > Print Area > Set Print Area. Click File > Print.
2 Moving margins
In Excel, if your data spills on to an extra page when you preview the layout (see 'Preview layouts'), you can adjust its size so it fits on to a single page. Click File > Print Preview. Next, click Page Break Preview > OK. Put your cursor on the dotted line so it changes to a double sided arrow, hold down the left-hand mouse button and drag the line to where you want it. Click the Print icon to print or View > Normal to go back to your spreadsheet.
