Using YouTubeOpening your account
1 Create an account
To post your own video clips - or rate and comment on other people's clips - you will need to sign up as a YouTube user.
Click the Sign Up link in the top-right corner of the screen.
Fill out the form that appears, click to untick the box for the weekly email if you don't want it and then finish your registration by clicking on Sign up.
2 Confirm your account
Click the blue Upload tab, top-right. Type your email address into the box and then click on Send Email.
Now wait for an email from YouTube (this is the second email YouTube sends, the first is a welcome message). It may take a while to arrive. When it does, click on the link contained in it.
