Italian brand Chicco has 40 years’ experience in manufacturing children’s products, and its buggies are sold in 120 countries.
As well as pushchairs, Chicco makes a range of other baby products including highchairs, baby carriers and car seats.
The brand also funds the Chicco Observatory, a research centre focusing on the development of children.
Our Chicco i-Move and Chicco Together video reviews show you a couple of Chicco pushchairs in action.
What is a typical Chicco pushchair like?
There are 12 pushchairs in the Chicco range and they vary from the most basic buggy to travel system pushchairs that are compatible with carrycots and child car seats.
Chicco pushchairs come with a black or silver frame, and fabrics are practical, hard wearing and come in a variety of cheerful colours.
Most Chicco buggies look similar and have an umbrella-fold mechanism (where the pushchair remains the same length but its width reduces when folded, like an umbrella).
Affordable prices make Chicco pushchairs a popular choice among budget-conscious parents. Newer models with extra features cost more.

How we review Chicco pushchairs
Our experts in the test lab put each Chicco pushchair through more than 30 tests to check its strength, durability and safety, in line with British Standards.
We assess how easy the pushchair is to push, adjust for children of different ages and fold up. We also test whether it will fit unfolded on an escalator and on public transport, or folded in the boot of a small family car. We even find out how easy it is to remove food stains from the pushchair fabric.
The final part of our testing involves a panel of parents (and their babies), who rate the features of the pushchair and take it for a spin to see how easy and convenient it is to manoeuvre on pavements and bumpy ground, up and down stairs and around other obstacles.
You can find out more about how we test pushchairs and read customer views from parents who already own each pushchair in our full pushchair reviews.
