Baby carriers and slings: Compare features & prices Babyslings Babasling review

Described as 'a revolution in comfort, design and simplicity' the Babasling is suitable for babies from birth to 15 kg (two years) and offers a range of sitting and lying positions. We asked 12 mums (and dads, if they wished) to wear this baby sling for a week as they went about their busy day and tell us what they thought of it.

Wouldn't recommend it
I got this sling for my newborn. Long story short: it was never comfortable and my arm was aching after a short time also I always had to support my baby with at least one hand otherwise it didn't feel safe. It also doesn't sit on your arm as on the picture in the instruction, it constantly slides higher onto the side of my neck which makes it even more uncomfortable. After this experience I have used a baby wrap and there is no comparison.

Agree with Which review - not a great sling
I bought this for my firstborn after being impressed by the website. When I received it, I found getting my baby in to the sling in a position that felt completely safe was almost impossible. We used it for two long haul flights so i could have my hands free but unfortunately I had to have my hand on my son the whole time for fear of him falling out. I ended up selling it and borrowing my friend's babybjorn. I also didn't find it comfortable on the shoulder. My son also never seemed completely confortable in it. I am going to buy something else for number 2! Overall, I wouldn't recommend this sling.
