Brilliant pushchair!
And we've tried many! So easy to push and Manoeuvre while holding a toddler's hand at the same time. Excellent that it's forward and rear facing - easy to switch between the two. I've had no problems with stiff folding mechanism - simply rub all moving parts with silicone based furniture polish (top tip from supplier), keeps it moving really smoothly. Excellent big shopping basket. I used the carry cot for 6 months, which was great as a bed for baby when away from home as well. Also had the maxi cosy carseat which fixes on easily. I've never found it too bulky folded up - extremely easy to remove wheels if necessary. Only thing I would say is I have warned my older child not to hang off the back of it or rock heavily in the seat as I don't think the seat connection to the frame could handle this too much! With a relative amount of care, I don't think that this should be a problem though. I only intended to use the pushchair for a year before reverting to my lightweight Out n About Nipper 3-wheeler (also very excellent), but 2 years on, I can't seem to let it go - it's brilliant around town and daughter seems to really like it too.

Would buy from iCandy again!
The cherry was my third pushchair. I bought it for my second child as a newborn and have loved it. It's a bit of an investment compared to some pushchairs out there but well worth the money. I loved the look of it as both a pram and pushchair and the fact it has so many colour options. It was brilliant as a pram with the carrycot (although the carrycot is very heavy) and just as good with the car seat. The fact that the basket is big and easy to get into is great but the biggest draw is how easy it is to push. It feels light, even with a heavy carrycot or toddler in the seat. I could easily push it and get around corners with one hand while holding my toddlers hand at the same time.Another little bonus is that it is easy to keep clean. When the seat unit is removed you can give it a little shake to remove crumbs and a damp cloth removes most dirty marks. There are a few draw backs though. The fact that the seat until doesn't lay flat is very annoying. When the whole thing is tipped back they are laying in a very strange posstion. The folding mechanism can get stiff but that is easily solved with a little WD40. The buttons to press to remove the carrycot and seat unit can also sometimes be hard to use. I never found it easy getting the carryvot off the base. Also the whole thing is large and takes up a lot of room in the car. It's fine if you have a good size family car. I only have an astra and can easily fit in the pushchair and shopping but anything smaller and you may struggle.Still having owned several other pushchairs I would say the drawbacks are not much of a problem and I will use the cherry for my third child. I would happily buy from iCandy again.

iCandy not so good for toddler
I bought the iCandy Cherry for my new baby and loved it initially. My little boy is now 21 months. I find the upright position is reclined too far back for a nosy toddler and he is always trying to sit forward. The opening mechanism has become very stiff and at times I have really struggled to fold it open or closed. The seat attachments have to be properly aligned otherwise the seat gets stuck.

We have been using the i cnady cherry for almost 3 years and have not had any problems at all with it. It is easy to use and hasgood steering. The carrycot (additional item) is a little same and was used for about 3 / 4 months. The foot muff (additional item) is easy to put on and good quality. Would recommend this as a good all round pushchair.

We bought the icandy for our now almost 4 year old and I still think it's great second time around. Really nippy, big basket and I love the parent facing. We used the carrycot in the house for naps and I used to carry my first son up the 3 flights of stairs in it - the angle is great and no danger of tipping whilst you are holding the handle. Being able to use the Maxi Cosi car seat is great.I had an older model so did have the problems with the seat unit slipping back and then wheels sticking, however both of these were fixed free of cost and the new ones seem to be fine. Servicing was great - I paid less than £40 and it was sent away and came back almost good as new (with the new front wheels which I didn't know they were going to replace). I have washed the covers in the machine on a delicates cycle - life is too short for handwashing, and they have been fine.Downsides - the basket has come away and frayed and I have had to repair it several times - perhaps I fill it too full with library books... Several of the zip tags have come off the seat and cosytoes. The cosytoes is quite small and ok for little ones - Autumn and Spring, but for winter in Scotland I've bought a buggysnuggle which is a much more generous size and warmer. My almost 4 year old claims he can still fit in but I'm not so sure! It's no good for folding on the bus. I find the rain cover a bit of a pain to put on, and it isn't easy to get secure in a hurry, also the bumper bar is quite tricky to get off, but I only do that if the baby is sleeping and I want to try and transfer him so not too much of a problem. Now my second son is almost a year I keep this buggy in the car and have a folding (non parent facing) city mini for using on the bus.

Continues to be excellent
OUr baby is now almost 12 months and have been using this since she was born - first pram attachment and now as a pushchair. Continue to be very impressed with it - folds up easily, turns on a sixpence and have no qualms about bringing it shopping - extremely manoeuvrable. Has been through the woods most weeks of its existence with us - both on and off road and has survived admirably. Our daughter still loves it. Would continue to highly recommend......

We bought this in 2008 for the birth of our first baby. We're still using it with our second, 32 months later. As the other reviews state, it's extremely lightweight (which was one of our pre-requisites) and we find that the frame does fold quite tightly for storage in the hall. It is a tight fit in the boot of my Polo, but isn't the chunkiest pushchair out there. The Cherry is very easy to manoever and appears to be comfortable. We used the Maxi cosi car seat (very convenient) and did have the carry cot (which to be honest, had limited life-span). Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as it's very easy to use (very big basket is extremely useful), light and comfortable.

Great up until 3 years old or 15kg
We bought an icandy cherry in 2007. We liked the fact that it was quite compact and that we could use it with the maxi cosi baby seat and we also purchased a carry cot which was suitable for new born babies. Our son slept well in the carry cot and the base was a good size for walking around shops and small coffee shops. We had some initial problems with one of the front wheels working loose and falling off - not good at all, however the pushchair base was changed without any problems and since then we never had any problems and we have taken it on some pretty rugged terrain. We also really enjoyed facing our son towards us so that we could engage with him. I would agree with the which review that it is slightly bulky when folded and ideally I would have liked something a little less bulky, however it is a very light weight buggy so easy to take in and out of the car. Overall we have enjoyed using the pushchair, but as which states in our experience it is not suitable for up to 4years old! We placed our 3 year old in it (15kg) and the clips that support the seat and enable it to tilt back gave way and would not stay upright, basically he was too heavy!, This was disappointing, although to be honest at his age he should really be doing more walking than sitting in a pushchair so it has done well to get us this far!!

One of the best lightweight rear/forward facing pushchairs on the market
If not, THE best! I bought this pushchair (and matching carrycot) for my daughter in 2010. The 2010 models onwards have had improvements to the chassis - specifically the wheels which are now double riveted and bolted, and the seat attachments/clips which now have metal "grippy teeth" to stop it slipping out of position. We never had any problems with it and the build quality and sturdiness of the system was the best of any pushchair we've owned (I'm a mother of 3 and had many pushchairs!). Everything clicks into place with a satisfying sound, and the recline and fold is super smooth. The wheels and suspension are also wonderful. The raincover is good - covers the whole pushchair and is easy to slip on and off. The Which? review states it probably wouldn't last a child beyond 2 years, but I tried with my 3 year old (who's not small for his age) and he fit comfortably into the seat - and it was still really light to push. I would have no hesitation in purchasing another should I have any more children, and recommend this to anyone.

Great so far!
I bought the iCandy Cherry on the basis of the Which reviews. We have been using it for 3 months now and have been very impressed so far. Using the pram attachment at the moment which is fine although can see her being too big for it by 4 months. Very light and easy to fold down and get back up again. Fits easily into the boot. Fantastic to push - turns on a sixpence and easy to manoeuvre one handed. Basket at bottom really good size (compared to a lot of prams/buggies). Use it a lot in the woods and so far has been excellent - have taken it off the paths a lot and although no suspension, has been sturdy so far and the bumping sends the baby to sleep a lot of the time which is very handy. So far, would recommend wholeheartedly.....

stylish, but disappointing
I have had its wheels changed, and seat clips changed after it had been used less than a year. And today its seat clips gave away without any warning and the seat tiped over and fell out backwards, and my son hurt his head very hard on the shopping centre floor.

Oh and the seat clips are on their way out
I also forgot to mention that the clips that tip the seat back to recline are now really loose and feel like they're about to give up.
