Ofgem, the energy regulator, has published details of how it proposes to make energy tariffs simpler. But its proposals don't go far enough to stamp-out confusing and rip-off energy tariffs.
Over the last three months, more than 6,500 of you emailed Ofgem asking it to tackle complicated tariffs. We don't think its reform plans go far enough so we've asked the government to step in.
Ofgem's proposals will still leave the doors open for energy companies to confuse you with complex deals. It's time the government and took immediate action to make all tariffs simpler.
