The Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM) has joined Equity and the Musicians' Union in supporting our Play Fair on Ticket Fees campaign.
Deborah Annetts, chief executive of the ISM, said:
‘A good relationship between a musician and their audience is a fundamental element of a professional performance. It is quite clear that excessive ticket charges, vague policies and unfair prices are undermining consumer confidence and diminishing audience numbers as a result.
'For this, we wholeheartedly support Which?’s campaign to end unnecessarily high ticket fees and support the musicians/audience relationship.’
If you agree with the ISM, add your name to our ticket fees petition.
In a win for our 47,000 campaign supporters, CompareTheatreTickets.com has put all compulsory ticket charges upfront.
It’s just a month since we launched our Play Fair on Ticket Fees campaign and we’ve already made an impact. One of the major ticketing companies has taken action on hidden fees.
