  • NEW PRICE: £18 435 - £25 170
  • USED PRICE: From £5 750

The Citroen C4 Grand Picasso is the long-wheelbase, seven-seat version of the popular Picasso family; it's spacious, comfortable and good value for money. Engines on offer include the turbocharged 1.6 THP petrol and super-economical 1.6 HDI diesel, though we'd avoid the optional EGS semi-automatic gearbox. Worth a look, or worth saving up for the all-new 2011 model?

New Citroën C4 Grand Picasso reviews

An all-new model goes on sale in 2011, but the outgoing C4 Grand Picasso will be around on franchised forecourts for a while yet: haggle hard for big discounts on the end-of-line stock. The diesels will hold their value better than the petrol models; avoid spending too much on expensive options and accessories, as this outlay will not be recouped come resale time, and residual (resale) values will fall steeply once the new model goes on sale.

The spacious Citroën C4 Grand Picasso, a seven seat MPV and big brother to the C4 Picasso, is big on quirky looks. Is the drive as interesting?

Used Citroën C4 Grand Picasso reviews

The C4 Grand Picasso is good value for money new - and even better value secondhand. There are plenty of low-mileage, one-owner cars around at attractive prices, and the worst of the depreciation (loss in value) will have passed for three-year old vehicles. Watch out for electrical and electronic problems, however, as the C4 Grand Picasso has not had a good record for reliability.
