Daihatsu Materia reviews
The Daihatsu Materia is a quirky take on the mini-MPV theme; it's quite a rarity in the UK, but more popular in its native Japan, where it's known as the Coo (how sweet). Its sister model, the Toyota bB, was not officially imported here. But what does it have to offer beyond its novelty value and manga-chic styling? Read on for the full Which? verdict.

Daihatsu Materia (2007-2010)
New price: £11,233 - £12,047
Daihatsu Sirion reviews
Think of the Daihatsu Sirion as a cheaper, more obscure Toyota Yaris: these two cars - and the 2008-on Subaru Justy - are closely related. The Sirion has petrol engines only - 1.0-three-cylinder, 1.3 and 1.5-litre - and a five-door body; this 2005-on model was updated in 2008 but imports to the UK have now ceased. Worth a look secondhand? Which? has the full lowdown.

Daihatsu Sirion (2005-2010)
New price: £8,678 - £12,278
Daihatsu Terios reviews
A tough little 4x4, the Daihatsu Terios is one of the cheapest and smallest off-roaders; its nearest rivals are the Fiat Panda 4x4 and Suzuki Jimny, though buyers may also consider the less intrepid Fiat Sedici/Suzuki SX4. Imports to the UK have tailed off due to Daihatsu's struggles with the yen-pound exchange rate, but there are a number of low-mileage examples around secondhand. Is it the real deal off-tarmac - and can it compete on-road?

The Daihatsu Charade is cheap, ultra-compact city car whose fuel economy and low running costs are major attractions.
