Ford car reviews

Ford has been the top selling car brand in the UK for many years - and with good reason. Its range of models is very strong, with many boasting class-leading chassis dynamics and spacious interiors. The UK's best-selling car, the Fiesta, is a very good case in point, with the Focus hatch and C-Max MPV providing strong competition in their respective sectors.

Ford's dealer network is comfortably the largest in the UK - no less than 550 at the last count - meaning that at least one dealer should be just around the corner from you. However, those dealers didn't fare very well among our readers. Find out more in the latest Which? Car survey

Ford B-Max reviews

The Ford B-Max is a compact five-seat MPV based on the Ford Fiesta, but some five inches longer. Among its clever features are sliding rear doors and a lack of B-pillars, which both ease access for rear-seat passengers. But is it clever enough? Find out in our full review.

Ford C-Max reviews

Ford's C-Max is an MPV based on the same underpinnings as the Ford Focus hatchback. That's a good thing, making it more enjoyable to drive than your average people carrier. It's practical too, especially in seven-seat Grand C-Max guise.

Latest models: Ford C-Max (2010-), Ford Grand C-Max (2010-)

Ford Fiesta reviews

The Ford Fiesta has long been the best-selling car in the UK, so it's clearly much-loved by the British public. But is that appreciation justified? Does the Fiesta beat talented rivals like the VW Polo and Renault Clio?

Latest model: Ford Fiesta (2008-)

Ford Focus reviews

The Ford Focus has consistently been Britain's best-selling medium family hatchback since it first went on sale in 1998. But is the VW Golf rival in fact the best car in its class?

Ford Fusion reviews

The Ford Fusion, sold between 2002 and 2012, is a well-established workhorse that offers great space for passengers and luggage. But it's not as versatile as some more modern small MPVs and feels rather dated.

Latest model: Ford Fusion (2002-2012)

Ford Galaxy reviews

Full-size MPVs are becoming a rarer sight these days, but the Ford Galaxy has been in this market since 1995. The current car arrived in 2006. It has all the space and flexibility you could need for typical family use and seating for seven passengers.

Latest model: Ford Galaxy (2006-)

Ford Ka reviews

The Ford Ka has been a huge hit for Ford. The first generation (1996-2008) was one of the UK's most popular city cars. The new generation Ka, sold from 2009 onwards, is significantly different, sharing much of its underpinnings with the Fiat 500.

Latest model: Ford Ka (2009-)

Ford Kuga reviews

The Kuga is Ford’s first 'soft-roader' and a strong rival for the Nissan Qashqai. It’s good looking, practical and relatively cheap to run, but not as large inside as you might imagine.

Latest model: Ford Kuga (2013-)

Ford Mondeo reviews

The Ford Mondeo is one of the most familiar cars on our streets. It's always had a reputation for being great to drive, as well as practical and good value. Due to go into its fifth generation in 2013, expect to see a more stylish Mondeo.

Latest models: Ford Mondeo (2007-) & Ford Mondeo Estate (2007-)

    Ford Streetka 1

Based on the Ford Ka supermini, the two-seat StreetKa sports roadster is fun to drive and surprisingly practical. But we have some concerns about safety - and fuel economy is shockingly poor for a car of this size.

    Ford Maverick

The last version of the Ford Maverick - basically a rebadged Mazda Tribute - was only sold in the UK between 2001 and 2003. In comparison with Ford's later sleek and curvy Kuga models, the Maverick was a rugged, old-school 4x4.
