The Honda CR-Z aims to bring fun and excitement to eco-conscious motoring. This sports coupe is a petrol-electric hybrid but, unlike its sister model the Honda Insight, it has a manual gearbox and a chassis set-up designed for driver fun. It certainly works on the fun level, but it's not particularly practical and fuel economy should be better.

New Honda CR-Z reviews

There's no car like the Honda CR-Z. It's the world's only hybrid sports coupe, bringing together the seemingly conflicting worlds of eco motoring and driver excitement. It's set up stiffly and has close-ratio gears to make it feel like a sports car. Despite the sci-fi looks inside and out, the CR-Z's 2+2 cabin is pretty impractical.

Used Honda CR-Z reviews

The Honda CR-Z only went on sale in 2010, so really it has yet to filter through to the used car market. It should hold on to its value pretty well, we reckon, and if its reliability matches that of the car that it's based on, the Honda Insight, then the CR-Z should stack up well as a used choice.
