The Honda Stream was discontinued in 2005, and the new Civic-based model that went on sale in Japan the following year was not offered in Europe. Post-2004 models seat six rather than seven, but whichever you choose it'll provide plenty of space for the larger family. Its successor was the FR-V, which only lasted till 2009.

The Honda Stream is only available second-hand, as it was discontinued in 2005. While it's certain to prove a reliable family favourite, it's not the most practical mid-sized people carrier, and the lack of a diesel option mean it'll be more costly to run.
