The Hyundai Getz was available from 2000 to 2009 and is a supermini, competing when it was new, with Which? member favourites like the Honda Jazz and Toyota Yaris. It doesn’t do too bad for safety compared to its better competitors, and is hopeless on security. But Hyundai brand reliability and owner satisfaction are high.

New Hyundai Getz reviews

The Hyundai Getz is no longer available new, but this version was made from 2000 to 2009, when it was replaced by the Hyundai i20. The Hyundai Getz suffered for its relatively poor drive – which can’t match key competitors like the Renault Clio or the Ford Fiesta for example.

Used Hyundai Getz reviews

As a used car, the Hyundai Getz is potentially a cheap runaround. It doesn’t offer the best drive in the world, but it is reasonably well equipped an and relatively cheap-to-run. It isn’t bad for its age for safety, but it falls way short of competitors like the VW Polo or the Fiat Panda.
