Lexus car reviews

What a success story Lexus has been. Toyota created it back in 1989 as a luxury division to rival Mercedes-Benz in America, and it succeeded spectacularly. Lexus may have had less impact in the UK but its range of premium saloons, coupes, convertibles and SUVs has attracted a loyal ownership.

Emphasising its strong offering of hybrid petrol/electric models, Lexus has announced that it is planning to become a hybrid-only marque in the UK.

No dealer network ranks higher than Lexus in our survey of readers, while its reliability is top-flight too.

Lexus GS reviews

The Lexus GS is laden with gadgets, solidly built, relaxing and quiet. Lexus dealers are second to none when it comes to customer service, and owners really rate their cars.

Lexus RX reviews

The Lexus RX started life as a petrol-only 4x4. But then in 2005, Lexus launched a petrol-electric hybrid version (first as the RX 400h and more recently as the RX 450h). There's still no diesel engine in the range, which some say puts it at a disadvantage compared with rivals like the BMW X5 and Mercedes M-class, but the hybrid has its own merits.
