  • NEW PRICE: £9,940 - £14,830
  • USED PRICE: From £2,395

The Mazda2 is a sister model to the Ford Fiesta, and shares the Ford's virtues: it's fun to drive, easy to own and reasonably economical and practical. It's also quite striking-looking, especially since its minor facelift at the end of 2010, and it makes an attractive alternative to a mainstream European supermini. Used Mazda 2 reviews

The Mazda2 is cheaper new, model-for-model, than the closely-related Ford Fiesta, yet it holds its value well; it's a bit rarer secondhand, and Mazda dealers may ask quite high prices for nearly-new and low-mileage stock. Sold privately or outside the franchises it's much better value, however, and early examples are now cheap. It's a well-built small car with a decent reliability record; find out more in the full Which? review.
