New Nissan Micra reviews
The 2010 Nissan Micra, the fourth generation of this popular supermini, is longer, roomier yet lighter in weight than the cute, curvy model it succeeds; it's sleeker, a little more masculine-looking, and should be a little sharper to drive. It comes with a new series of engines, including a super-economical and low-emissions three-cylinder 1.2, also offered in supercharged form. It's no longer built in Britain, however, and does it lack the charm and character of the car it replaces? Read on for the Which? lowdown.

The Micra is going budget - but is it too downmarket? -
Nissan Micra (2003-2010)
New price: £8,510 - £11,735
The third generation Micra is still as quirky as it was when launched in 2003. This three-or five-door supermini shares some DNA with the Renault Clio.
Used Nissan Micra reviews
The Nissan Micra is easy to buy secondhand; there are plenty around to choose from, and most have been low-mileage, privately-owned vehicles, often well-maintained by careful older owners. Since the Mk 2 models (from 2003) it has suffered some electrical and electronic issues, but overall, the Micra is reasonably tough and solidly-built. Secondhand prices for the Mk3 range, especially for nearly-new cars, will fall once the Mk4 goes on sale in early 2010. But which one's the trustiest and the best investment?
