New Subaru Impreza reviews
The Impreza range is quirky for several reasons: it's four-wheel drive only, sold in base 1.5R spec right up to fire-breathing STi, and has only recently become available in diesel form. The latest STi has dropped its Impreza badging and is now sold as a four-door saloon as well as a five-door hatch. Has the Impreza lost its mojo though? Which? finds out.

Subaru Impreza (2008-)
New price: £21,245 - £32,585
The latest Subaru Impreza is a five-door hatchback, rather than earlier saloons and estates, with engines ranging from feeble to fearsome. We test it out. -
Subaru Impreza (2000-2008)
New price: £13,777 - £32,411
The often outlandish Impreza isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it has plenty going for it - not least its low prices, and the performance of the turbocharged models such as the WRX.
Used Subaru Impreza reviews
The Impreza enjoys an excellent reliability record. It keeps its value well because it still has a big following, from farmers who like the 4x4 practicality to wannabe rally stars who love the fast and furious WRX and STi. Be careful if you're buying a WRX or STi though - many have been modified and abused.
