One of a trio of cars built for Toyota, Citroen and Peugeot at the same factory in the Czech Republic; its sister models are the C1 and 107. The Aygo is cheap and economical to run, but safety kit is minimal and doesn't include electronic stability control as standard.

Toyota's diminutive Aygo city car is cheap to buy and run, but it doesn't have the refinement - or safety kit - of newer rivals. We think all new cars should have electronic stability control as standard - buy an Aygo and you'll have to pay extra for it.

Used Toyota Aygo reviews

The Aygo city car holds its value well, so don't expect huge bargains on the used market. One way to get good value for money is to hunt down a special edition, which should have extra equipment over the standard models.
