The current Vauxhall Agila is the identical twin of the Suzuki Splash. Unlike the below-par first-generation Agila, which was based on the  Suzuki Wagon R+, the new one is a great all-round package. It's surprisingly roomy, easy to drive and has proved reliable so far.

The Vauxhall Agila and Suzuki Splash are basically the same car, built in the same factory in Hungary. As a city car, this is a very effective machine: compact, simple to drive and offering enough space for passengers and luggage. But does the Agila match sophisticated rivals like the Honda Jazz, Mazda 2 and Hyundai i20?

Used Vauxhall Agila reviews

On sale since 2008, the Vauxhall Agila is now arriving on the used car scene - and seems to be a good buy since early reliability has been good. The old-shape Agila (based on the Suzuki Wagon R+) is less convincing, especially when you have to drive it out of town.
