Vauxhall has sold vast quantities of the Vectra over the years, and with good reason - it represents cheap, roomy, practical, comfortable family transport. A direct rival for the Ford Mondeo, it was offered in hatchback, saloon and estate forms.

Latest models: Vauxhall Vectra (2002-2008); Vauxhall Vectra Estate (2003-2008)

Pros and cons

  • Pro: Refined, cheap to buy, very roomy

Used Vauxhall Vectra reviews

There's no shortage of used Vauxhall Vectra stock on the market at very tempting prices. Choose between petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) models or even a high performance VXR. For practicality, you can't beat the huge estate version. Reliability could be better, though - check out our full Which? review to find out the details.
