The Volvo C70 is a coupé-convertible with a folding metal hard-top roof, offering the high safety standard of Volvo as a car brand with an open-top four-seater design. It remains a relatively rare sight on Britain’s roads, mainly due to the tough competition in the sports/convertibles category. Rivals to the Volvo C70 include the Mercedes-Benz CLK, BMW 3-Series and Audi A4 convertibles.

The Volvo C70 is currently in its second generation, with the original Volvo C70 launched in 1997. From 1997, the Volvo C70 was available as either a coupé or a soft-top convertible.
