  • NEW PRICE: £29,790 - £39,160
  • USED PRICE: From £10,595

The Volvo C70 is a four-seat coupé-convertible with a folding metal hard-top roof. It remains a relatively rare sight on Britain’s roads, perhaps due to the tough competition from rivals such as the Mercedes E-class, BMW 3 Series and Audi A4 convertibles.

Latest model: Volvo C70 (2006-)

Pros and cons

  • Pro: Innovative metal folding roof, good crash protection, well made
  • Con: Poor rearward vision, not very sporty to drive, noisy diesels
