I've bought tickets through StubHub, what are my rights?

If you’ve bought tickets through eBay’s ticket reselling service, StubHub, you have additional protection, including a guarantee that a valid ticket will arrive on time.

Buying tickets through StubHub

When buying tickets from a private individual you have very few rights.

Tickets must be as described and arrive on time, but you can't be sure that they'll be valid because some tickets cannot be resold.

But with StubHub’s FanProtect service you're guaranteed that tickets will arrive on time, be valid for entry and be the same as those advertised.

If for some reason one of these conditions is not met, then StubHub will offer a refund.

In addition to this, StubHub offers rights around cancelled or postponed gigs which would not ordinarily be available to people purchasing tickets from unauthorised ticket sellers.

A gig was cancelled what can I do?

If the event you booked tickets for is cancelled and will not occur at a later date, then StubHub will give you a refund for the total cost of your order.

If the event is postponed or rescheduled, you should be able to use your existing tickets for the new date.

If you an't attend the event then you can re-list the tickets on the site.

If you’re not able to attend the event and unable, or unwilling, to re-list the tickets, then you should call StubHub who will arrange for a full or partial credit towards future tickets to be added to your account.
