Dear Sir/Madam

Re: [order number]

On [insert date] I came into your shop and placed an order for a [insert style of dress] wedding dress, which I paid for [in advance/ paid a deposit].

I was told at the time that I could expect the wedding dress within [timeframe] of placing the order.

The wedding dress has still not been delivered.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you are required to deliver the wedding dress to me within 30 days or on the date that has been agreed.

As [number of weeks] have elapsed since I placed the order, you have failed to fulfil this statutory requirement and are therefore in breach of contract.

I am now making time of the essence.

If you do not send me the wedding dress within seven days, I will consider our contract at an end, as I am entitled to do in law.

I will then expect you to refund the full purchase price of [£xx] to me.

Should it then cost me more to obtain an identical wedding dress elsewhere, I will be looking to you to refund the difference as I am legally entitled to do.

Yours faithfully,
