The Black & Decker GLC3630L comes with a lithium ion battery
The Black & Decker grass trimmers are aimed at normal garden use and they don't do a petrol model. The most powerful grass trimmer is the GL720 600W Strimmer with a 30cm cutting width which weighs 3.2kg.
Black & Decker has a number of more basic models such as the GL 310 300W string trimmer which is light (1.5kg) and has a 25cm cutting width. Some Black & Decker grass trimmers can convert to an edging mode. Automatic line feed mechanisms (when the line that does the cutting is released automatically) and bump line feed mechanisms (when you tap the head of the trimmer on something to release the line) are both available.
Black & Decker generally number their machines according to power and cutting width for example the GL 4525 has a 450w motor and a 25cm cutting width. The large 700 series models, which look more like petrol trimmers don't quite follow this easy naming system. But the more powerful machines have a higher number.
