Mountfield garden products

Mountfield is now part of the international GGP group but has a long pedigree as a UK manufacturer of lawn mowers. Find out which Mountfield lawnmowers we've tested in our lawnmower reviews.

A number of petrol garden tools are sold under the Mountfield brand, including a handful of hedge trimmers.

Unfortunately we haven't been able to gather enough results from members to be able to rate the reliability or owners' views for Mountfield petrol hedge trimmers.

Mountfield MHJ2424 petrol hedge trimmer

Only three petrol hedge trimmers are currently offered by Mountfield. We tested the cheapest of them, the Mountfield MHJ2424, which sells for £199. It's a powerful machine with a wrap-around front handle and swiveling rear handle, making it very versatile to use. The other Mountfield hedge trimmers are more expensive, higher-spec machines.
