PaintPod dip tube

Replace the dip tube after using 50 litres of paint

How does the Dulux PaintPod work?

The roller handle communicates with the pump via a wireless radio connection. There’s a CR2032 battery inside to provide power. If you’ve got more than one PaintPod, there’s a chance they might get confused by being used in the same room together, but if you turn them on one at a time, there shouldn’t be any problem.

Do I need to replace any parts?

Dulux recommends that you replace the dip tube pump after about 10 packs (50 litres) of paint. After that time, the tube might not clean effectively, and could become blocked.

What happens if something goes wrong with the Dulux PaintPod?

There are two warning lights – the Paint pack light illuminates if you don’t fit the paint pack correctly, and the Clean warning shows if you the roller head isn’t replaced in the docking station correctly before the cleaning cycle.

Is the PaintPod really portable?

The PaintPod can easily be carried – simply press to release the carry handle. When a paint pack is inside, the unit can weigh up to 12.5kg, so can be quite heavy to lug around. You’ll also need to unplug the power supply transformer when moving more than a few metres.
