Beko cookers

Turkish brand Beko offers a wide range of gas and electric cooke

We’ve run extensive tests on seven Beko electric cookers in our test lab, including the S502, DV555, DVC665 and D533 models.

We’ve also tested two Beko gas cookers – the DVG593S and DG582S models. To find out how each scored, visit cooker reviews.

Beko cookers occupy the cheaper end of the cooker market – the ones we’ve tested typically cost between £170 and £370. If you're looking to buy a cheap cooker, you can use our compare cookers tool to find the best cookers for under £200.

Beko cooker reviews

In our tough lab tests, most Beko cookers achieve good or excellent scores for hob performance and several models score excellently for oven performance.

Beko DVC665

Beko's DVC665 cooker

When rating cookers for oven performance we look at how long they take to heat up, the accuracy of controls and heat distribution around the cooker.

To test oven preheating time we time how long the oven takes to reach the desired temperature when we set it to 150°, 180° and 200°C.

We use probes to test the accuracy of the temperature controls and bake cakes to check the evenness of baking at different levels in the oven. A good oven will produce evenly raised golden cakes no matter where they are placed in the oven.

In our grilling tests Beko cookers have achieved varying levels of success, with scores ranging from excellent to very poor. This highlights the importance of choosing a cooker by model rather than by brand.

Most Beko models only achieve average scores for ease of use and ease of cleaning. If you’re considering buying a Beko cooker, check how well it scores on a variety of criteria, by visiting our cooker test results.

Three of the Beko cookers we’ve tested come with a fan oven and around half of them come with a separate grill compartment. If you want to pick an oven with certain features, such as a double oven, ceramic hotplate or separate grill, check out the specification tabs in our cooker reviews.
