Best cooker brands Indesit cookers
Indesit cookers
Italian brand Indesit offers a wide variety of single and double cookers. The Indesit Company also owns cooker brands Hotpoint and Cannon.
We’ve run extensive tests on 10 Indesit electric cookers in our test lab, including the KD3E1, KD3C1G and K3E1G models. We’ve also tested eight Indesit gas cookers, including the K3G21SXIR, KD3G2G and K6G210G models. To find out how each scored, visit the Which? cooker reviews.
Indesit cookers tend to occupy the cheaper end of the cooker market – the models we’ve tested typically cost between £200 and £400. If you’re looking for a low-priced cooker, you can use our compare cookers tool to find all the cookers we’ve tested that cost under £200.
Indesit cooker reviews
In our tough lab tests, Indesit cookers tend to score well or excellently for hob performance and most also score well or excellently for grilling. However, two models score very poorly for grilling – highlighting the importance of choosing a cooker by model rather than brand.

To test grilling performance we cover the grill tray with crustless white bread, place it under a hot grill and assess the size and evenness of the toasted area. Some poorly performing grills only manage to toast about half of the bread's surface.
Indesit cookers tend to achieve average to good scores for oven performance, and most models score well for ease of cleaning. However, a couple of models score poorly for this. If you’re considering buying a specific Indesit cooker, check how well it scores on a variety of criteria, by visiting our cooker test results.
Six of the Indesit cookers we’ve tested come with a fan oven, and one comes with a multifunction oven, which offers fan, grill and conventional oven cooking. Check out the features section of our cooker reviews to find out which features and functions might be most useful to you.
