In the Which? lab we test dishwashers on a wide range of criteria, and have found a significant difference between the best and worst dishwashers. Most Zanussi dishwashers achieve average to excellent scores in our tough tests for cleaning, drying and avoiding watermarks, but one model scores poorly for cleaning and for avoiding watermarks.
Almost all models score well for ease of use, but scores for noise range from average to very poor. While most Zanussi dishwashers score well for electricity consumption on the eco program, several models score poorly or very poorly on the normal program.
When rating dishwashers for electricity consumption, we rate them per place setting, so an efficient large dishwasher will score better than an average use smaller dishwasher, even if they have used the same amount of electricity overall.
