KitchenAid food processors reviews
In our lab tests, KitchenAid food processors generally score excellently for mixing cakes and well for kneading bread and making mayonnaise. One model also scores excellently for build quality.
However, one model scores poorly for ease of cleaning and one achieves only an average score for making smoothies. If you’re considering buying a specific KitchenAid model, check how well it scores against a variety of criteria by visiting our food processor test results.
Each of our tests has several components to it. For example, when we test food processors on how well they make mayonnaise, the machine is rated on how long it takes and on the consistency of the mayonnaise that it produces, including stiffness and evenness of blending. Plus, we check after 24 hours to see whether the mayo has separated.
If you want to choose a model that's particularly good at a specific task, for example kneading dough or mixing cakes, you can use our compare food processors tool to find one that scores well in these areas.
The KitchenAid Artisan KSM150 kitchen machine and Artisan 5KFPM770 food processor both come with a three-year warranty.
