Korean brand LG offers a range of microwaves, including the MP9289NSD microwave with built-in steamer and several models with ‘DuoChef technology’, which have two fans to cook food more evenly.

LG microwave reviews
We’ve been fairly impressed with the performance of LG microwaves in our tests. Most models we’ve tested have scored well or excellently for quality of food and well for ease of use. Several models also score excellently for speed of cooking and a couple of models score excellently for grilling.
However, one model scores poorly for defrosting, and scores for roasting a whole chicken range from good to poor.
To test a microwave’s defrosting performance we defrost lean minced beef, shaped to specific dimensions and frozen for at least 12 hours. Once defrosted, we leave the meat to stand for five minutes then check for hot or cold spots and measure the maximum and minimum temperatures of the meat. Poor microwaves will start to cook parts of the mince, while leaving other bits frozen.
