Neff ovens reviews
In the Which? lab we test ovens on a wide range of criteria, and have found a significant difference between the best and worst models.
In our tough tests, Neff ovens typically score well or excellently for preheating speed and oven heat distribution. They also tend to score well for ease of use and most also do well for how accurate their controls are.
However, one model did badly for evenness of grilling, and most are only get an average score for how easy they are to clean. This is despite the fact that they all come with catalytic oven liners. This means they have rough surfaces inside, which catch, absorb and break down food spills, and should make your oven walls easier to keep clean.
To test how easy an oven is to clean, we spread a mince and gravy paste on the oven base and one panel, and margarine on the other panel. We then bake them at 180°for 30 minutes and check how easy they are to clean by hand.
Only one of the Neff models we’ve tested is childproof. If you’re considering buying a specific Neff oven, check its specifications and how well it scores on a variety of criteria, by visiting our ovens test results. Here you will also find our compare ovens tool which can help you find an oven that best suits your needs.
As well as testing ovens in our lab, we also survey thousands of oven owners to find out how happy they are with their oven brand and whether they’d recommend it to a friend.
