Belling range cookers
British brand Belling offers several range cooker collections, including the Classic Collection and Country Classics. Belling is part of the Glen Dimplex Group, which also includes the Stoves and New World brands.
We’ve run extensive tests on five Belling range cookers in our test lab, including the DB490DF, 100DFDO and Country Chef 100DF models. To find out how each model scored, visit the Which? range cooker reviews.
The Belling range cookers we’ve tested typically cost between £850 and £1,000. If these models don’t suit your budget, you can use our compare range cookers tool to find one that does.
Belling range cooker reviews
Belling range cookers tend to score well for hob performance in our tough lab tests, with most models achieving good or excellent scores.

To test hob performance we heat a frying pan to 200°C then take a thermal image photograph to show the spread of heat across the hob. The best models will result in an even heat distribution. We also see how quickly each model can heat a pan of boiling water and test the hob’s simmering ability by cooking rice pudding.
Most models also achieve average to good scores for ease of cleaning both the hob and oven. However, one model scores poorly for ease of use and several models score poorly for grilling performance. If you’re considering buying a Belling range cooker, check how well it scores on a variety of criteria, by visiting our range cooker test results.
Four of the Belling models we tested come with a fan oven and one has a multifunction oven that offers fan, grill and conventional oven cooking. The number of gas burners on the models we’ve tested ranges from five to eight, and two models come with a special wok burner. See our range cooker reviews for details of range cooker features and what to look out for when choosing a model.
