Hotpoint range cooker reviews
In our tough tests, Hotpoint range cookers tend to score well or excellently for oven preheating time and hob performance. They also tend to achieve average to good scores for oven accuracy and grilling performance.
The Hotpoint Ultima EG902GX range cooker
To test grilling performance we cover the grill tray with crustless white bread, place it under a hot grill and assess the size and evenness of the toasted area. Some poorly performing grills only manage to toast about 50% of the bread.
Hotpoint models tend to score fairly well for ease of use, but some models score poorly for ease of cleaning the hob and scores for ease of removing fingerprints range from good to poor. If you’re considering buying a Hotpoint range cooker, check how well it scores on a variety of criteria, by visiting our range cooker test results.
Both the Hotpoint range cookers we’ve tested come with five gas burners and a fan oven, and one also comes with a wok burner and a multifunction oven, which offers fan, grill and conventional oven cooking. If you’re thinking about buying a new range cooker but aren’t sure which will best suit you, you can use our compare range cookers tool to find a model that performs well in the areas that are most important to you.
