Type
Whether it's a gas or electric, has a single or double oven and if it is a double, whether it's built-in or built-under.
Colour
The colour we give here is the colour of the oven that we tested. Built-in ovens usually come in more than one colour, so if you're looking for a black oven but we only have the stainless steel, check with the manufacturer.
Claimed oven capacity (l)
This is the total volume of the top and main ovens. The litre figure given is worked out based on the height x width x depth of the ovens, rather than the actual usable volume. For double ovens we have given the claimed capacity of the top oven, followed by the main oven.
Main oven claimed capacity (l)
This is the total volume of the main oven. The litre figure given is worked out based on the height x width x depth of the main oven, rather than the actual usable volume.
Size hxwxd (cm)
This is the actual space needed to install the oven into a kitchen cabinet. The actual height and width of the oven front will be slightly larger.
Meat probe
Whether it has a probe to test if meat is fully cooked.
Child lock
Whether it has a child lock function preventing the oven from being used. (Retractable knobs are not regarded as a true childproof feature.)
Self-clean
