Steam pipe
Coffee machines with a steam pipe mean you can heat and froth milk to make milky coffee drinks, such as cappuccino.
Drip tray
Some drip trays are removable so they can be emptied and cleaned; some are removable and adjustable, so that you can use different sized cups.
Removable tank
A removable water tank will make it easier to fill up, to empty and clean.
Filter

Speed of making an espresso
How long it takes to brew one espresso.
Cappuccino
The quality of cappuccinos made using steam pipe (if there is one present), or accessories supplied, to heat and foam the milk. If this is blank, it means the coffee machine doesn't have a steam pipe.
Speed of milk steaming
How quickly the machine produces steam and heats milk to 70°C. The star rating will be blank if no steamer is present.
Ease of use
How easy the coffee machine is to use, overall.
Cleaning
Cleaning the coffee making apparatus, emptying the drip tray and cleaning the body surfaces.
Using the portafilter
Some portafilters can be hard to lock onto the coffee machine, and tight-fitting filter baskets can make them tricky to empty.
