And it was recommended by Which.Once you've made the adjustments necessary to accommodate your particular type/size of crockery, then the Usability is straightforward. very easy to figure out the different options. Though i did find the some of the settings took a very long time...As reported by others, it's struggles to dry your items.. i always had to open the door shortly after completing a wash cycle to let the hot water evaporate. this of course is not possible if you want to run it overnight... you can set the timer to make it start it's cycle say 3hours prior your wake up time to get around this. But overall it should really to dry by itself.unfortunately it recently started failing with an E24 error and failing to drain any water. This occurred shortly after the 1yr warranty expired. I did a lot googling and found that many people were having the same problem. one solution was tip the whole machine 45' forward and hold it there for a short while .. allowing water to flow out from wherever it's stuck. I tried this and it worked !. dishwasher was fine again.... for about a month, and then had same problem again. draining it again didn't seem to fix it this time. Over last 15yrs, I've had 3 dishwashers. This one has lasted the shortest amount of time... 14months. so very disappointed. Pros: Cons:

This was the best value for money at Curry's, but we still paid £50 more than I was prepared to. We haven't had too many problems, but there is less space so have found that if the dishes aren't spaced out, there is dried-on residue. I use the knife shelf for long-handled spatulas, ets, and I like the fact that the height of the top drawer can be altered to suit pots and pans. We live in a soft water area, and don't need salt, and I like the fact that there is a reminder when the rinse aid is low. However, unlike other models, there is no indication when the rinse aid reservoir is full. The buttons are simple to use, but I agree that there is no need for 2 'on' buttons. We tend to use the 'eco', or the 'intensive' cycle. It dries better with the intensive 'cycle'. The filter is simple to remove and clean, and it is easy to take apart to give a proper clean. Overall, we are happy with the machine. Pros: Cons:

Bowls, cups, glasses can have dried - on residue if ... well, I am still not entirely sure : if the filter at the bottom is not spotlessly clean, if there is not enough rise aid (although no light has come on) or if dishes have not been well pre - rinsed, which we did not have to do for previous ones. Am somewhat disappointed, although it was recommenden by Which! Pros: Cons:

The main wash function has dealt effortlessly with the usual daily round of crockery and cooking pots and the eco wash did what it was supposed to do in less than half an hour. So far I could not fault it. Pros: Cons:

However, the cutlery container is annoying as it is a struggle to put some of our cutlery in as the holes in the grid are too small. Also the arrangement of holders on the top tray does not fit our china, so it does not hold as much nor is it as easy to load as our previous one. We also removed the knife tray, partly because we do not put sharp kitchen knives in the dishwasher and it got in the way. Also, why do you have to use two buttons to start it? Pros: Cons:

This was the Which? #2 and I thought it a reasonably priced machine for a Bosch. It was very simple to install and setup and have used it on all settings without any complaints. The eco setting takes about 3 hours, so we tend to run it on normal 65 which is a 2hr10min program. We haven't tried the delay start function, but it's not something we tend to use anyhow. It's certainly very economical on salt and rinse aid (the Beko used to devour both... but it was ancient, I suppose) and also keeps itself very clean. Also cleans much better with cheap Aldi tabs than any expensive tabs which used to get stuck in the dispenser. We did remove the knife tray from the top basket as it was next to useless if you have mugs in situ. Similarly the other trays in the top basket are folded up as we always have tumblers loaded on the right. Nine months on and we're very happy with our Bosch Classixx. Pros: Cons:

Compared to our old bosch it seems to have been made with cheap materials (lots of plastic rather than metal inside). It was cheap to buy and is probably very efficient, but does not do the job.
