Currys Essentials CDW60W10 review
http://www.which.co.uk/home-and-garden/kitchen/reviews/dishwashers/currys-essentials-cdw60w10/review/
The Currys Essentials CDW60W10 is a freestanding dishwasher that can hold up to 12 place settings - about 120 pieces of crockery and cutlery. It has three different wash programs, but does it clean as well as the best dishwashers on test?

However, nothing could have been easier. Ordered online, excelllent communications and freqeunt 'phone calls from them about our delivery status. The driver called when he was about an hour away from us. They took away the old machine, a 16 year old Ariston at no chargeExperience with this machine is in accordance with the Which? report. Not worried about the noise because it is in a small utility room. The top drawer does stick but gently gently does it better. Used two/three times a week always full and usually on Normal wash. Washing results are excellent; contents stacked in accordance with recommendations. No problems experienced so far with detergent tablets (Lidl or Aldi). However, we do make an effort to scape off the worst of food remains. Racks have not rusted - so far. No deposits in the interior, the machine is lightly wiped inside and around door seals after each use and a Tesco dishwasher cleaner used on an empty wash about every six weeks. Rinse aid and salt reminders seem to be ok. No problems with spray bars with standard size dinner plates or with the top basket handle obstructing the detergent dispenser. The top rack is inconvenient to adjust but we don't have a frequent need to do this. So far so good for the money but only time will tell and I will be watching for the problems alerted by other members. Thank you.The most important omission is a delay start and you can't use a time switch instead because the start switch has to be pressed after the power switch that only stays on when it has power. Had I been aware of it not being capable of use with a time switch I would NOT have bought it! Pros: Cons:

wrote: | gardener wrote: gardener A deeply disappointing dishwasher. I completely agree with the previous reviews.I routinely have to wash items by hand and clean the inside door of the machine. It was bought in late April 2011 and I long for it to break down so that I can justify replacing it with something that actually does a decent job. I have never unloaded such an inefficient dishwasher. Pros: Cons:

I'm sorry to hear about the problems that you've faced - this dishwasher was impressive in our lab tests, particularly when cleaning and drying. We noted some ease of use issues in our testing and mentioned them in the review of the product. We didn't recommend it as a Best Buy because we don't know enough about the reliability of the brand. We'll raise the problems you've faced with Currys and thanks again for letting us know about your appliances. Pros: Cons:

After six months of use the racks have begun to rust. Deposits of food regularly build up in the corners, of the interior, the top of the interior gets covered in grease deposits. The rinse aid and salt sensors have both broken. Do not buy! Pros: Cons:

It doesn't dry very well at all - not as your test results say, our dinner plates don't fit upright in the lower rack without hitting the spray bar, (they did easily in our previous machine), and the upper rack sliders stick all the time, such that the rollers have now broken. Also, the spray bars are quite short so items in the corners of the racks don't get cleaned well at all. Pros: Cons:

wrote: | bellesreview wrote: don't I have had this since just after christmas 2011. It had a decent write up for a budget machine so thought, why not? It is not my best idea yet! The top basket sticks and refuses to move without some force. The top basket has a handle on the front edge which catches on the detergent dispenser. The wash isn't great and it leaves water on everything, no matter what program I use. Its no good for very dirty items, such as meat or casserole dishes. The 'beep' goes off to tell you its finished but don't be fooled, it hasn't,not till its beeping for 3 times, then its finished. Results of opening it after first lot of beeps are a water filled base and a free hot facial! Hoping it doesn't last long so I can get a new one! Pros: Cons:
