First this model was very cheap to buy at less than £300. Its construction and internal racks certainly reflect that cheapness. That said it does wash well on the full program, if you only use the eco mode it soon starts to smell so best to alternate between the two.Only real problem is the rinse aid flap leaks all the liquid out in a day or two but it seems ok without it.
Appalling design of top basket
I have had five previous dishwashers in my life, and this is the only one that has left me annoyed and frustrated every single day. The problem is the design of the top basket. Perhaps it can accommodate cups and saucers for the official test, but it is hopeless for the cups and mugs that our ordinary (and I believe fairly typical) family use in the two days between wash cycles. When the machine is part-full, the mugs fall over when the rack is moved. They have to be constantly replaced, and when the machine is full they have to be repositioned yet again - wedged in at all angles as they cannot sit on the base properly, or be positioned on the sticking up part of the rack. Awful! As I say, no previous dishwasher I've owned has suffered from this major flaw. Yes, we've had some baskets which were a bit better than others, but none before which failed abjectly to perform the simple task required of them. This flaw is not even hinted at in the Which? results, which makes me wonder how well the test schedules reflect the real world.I could not recommend this dishwasher to anyone. Although, if anyone wants one they could have mine...
