Help
Size (cm) hxwxd
Dimensions include hinges with the door closed. You need to add several cm on each side to allow for the air circulation recommended by the manufacturer.
Width size (cm)
Refers to the minimum space needed to house the fridge in the middle of a run of kitchen units or corner, including any extra space required for air circulation.
Freestanding or built in
Choose yes for freestanding or no for built in or integrated
Colour
The colour we give here are the colours of the fridge available at time of testing. Other colours may be released at a later date, so if you're looking for a silver fridge but we only have the white version, check with the manufacturer. Built in appliances can have the same cupboard door attached to match the rest of your kitchen.
Warranty
Basic warranty offered at time of purchase. Extended warranties are sometimes available free of charge if you register your fridge with the manufacturer, so check your fridge's user manual.
Usable storage volume (litres)
This is based on our own measurements. It may be lower than the figure given by the manufacturer because its figures sometimes include unusable space.
Room temperature range °C
The fridge is designed to operate within this range of room temperatures (also called climate class). If the room temperature falls outside this range, the fridge may become too warm or too cold inside.
Freezer compartment in fridge
Ice box
Number of shelves
The number of shelves above the crisper unit
Bottle grip in door
Bottle grips include finger-style grips and sliding dividers.
EU energy label
Given by the manufacturer for energy efficiency. A+++ is the most efficient category.
Energy costs
Our annual energy costs are based on a unit cost of 14.5p per kWh
Refrigerant
R600a is a more eco-friendly refrigerant (coolant) than R134a.
Energy use
Compares energy use for each fridge taking size into account.
Cooling power
How quickly the fridge cools food to the correct temperature, this is important for hygiene and convenience.
Recommended thermostat setting
The manufacturers recommended thermostat setting should result in a temperature under 5°C in the fridge. Fewer than two stars means you will have to adjust the thermostat setting until it matches the correct setting.
Temperature evenness
The difference between the coldest and warmest parts of the fridge. Those with even temperatures got the highest rating.
Temperature stability
How closely the fridge maintains the correct temperature, even when the room temperature changes.
Quietness and vibration
Five stars means the model is quiet, one star is noisy.
Brand reliability
How reliable this brand of fridge is
