Hobs reliability
More than 2500 Which? members have told us about the reliability record of their hobs. We’ve heard about those minor niggles that you can live with, such faulty indicator lights, as well as major problems which will stop you cooking, including complete electrical failures. Here we bring you the results of our survey, to show you the most reliable brands of hobs, that should give you unparalleled reliability.
The highest scoring brand or hob has an excellent reliability score of 98%. And even those at the other end of the table still score over 90% for reliability.
Brands including AEG-Electrolux, Baumatic, Bosch, Hotpoint, Miele, Neff, Siemens, Stoves, Whirlpool and Zanussi are featured in our reliability table.
Neff hobs are a very popular purchase – 24% of respondents to our survey own a Neff hob and 12% own a Bosch hob.
