Unit failed 3 years 3 months after purchase
Bought this Bosch microwave oven from John Lewis. Was generally very pleased with it - simple, attractive looking and did the basics of reheating and cooking frozen veg well. However, it failed after just over three years - control system seems to have failed completely, and in a potentially dangerous fashion. The unit came on, apparently at full power, and could not be switched off. Disconnected power. But, as soon as I tried to reconnect, the unit came on at full power again. Checking reviews on the John Lewis website, we are by no means the only ones to experience this problem. Will need to buy a replacement, but not from Bosch on this showing.
