With its dropdown door and sleek retractable controls, the built-in AMW820/IX combination microwave oven from Whirlpool looks more like a conventional oven than a microwave. This combi microwave has a range of auto programs for defrosting, reheating and cooking, and can also be used for grilling and baking. Like most built-in appliances,it doesn't come cheap, so we were keen to find out if it can justify the price tag.
