A household name, but reliability is disappointing
Hotpoint is one of the biggest-selling washing machine brands in the UK and has successfully established itself as a household name.
Hotpoint offers an impressive five-year parts guarantee, so is likely to be your first port of call if you need parts replacing. However, these must be fitted by a Hotpoint engineer and after the first year you will have to pay labour costs, so if you can replace a part yourself and it’s relatively inexpensive, this may be a cheaper option.
Buying Hotpoint spares

You’ll need to know the model number of your Hotpoint washing machine before ordering spares, as most parts are model-specific. The model number is usually displayed on the washing machine near the controls.
